Travel runs on seasons. January brings the rush of summer holiday bookings, spring fills up with school-break trips and honeymoons, autumn has its own wave of winter-sun and festive getaways, and corporate travel picks up whenever the business calendar does. At every peak, travellers look for an agency they can trust, often in a hurry, and contact the ones they find first. Between peaks is when the smart agencies prepare for the next one.
Once an agency decides to take its visibility seriously, one question comes up quickly: which plan? This guide helps you choose between the Traffic Engine plans (Presence, Momentum, Flood and the two exclusive options) according to the size of your agency, your ambition and the competition in your area.
Three questions to answer before you choose
How many new bookings can you handle?
A two-person independent agency with a loyal client base does not need what a ten-consultant agency planning a second branch needs. A plan that brings in more enquiries than your team can handle well is a false economy: a traveller who is poorly looked after in peak season does not come back, and they tell their friends.
What is your ambition over twelve months?
Do you simply want to be found by people looking for a travel agent in your area, or to become the go-to name for a specific kind of travel, such as tailor-made holidays, cruises, group tours, honeymoons or business travel? The broader the ambition, the stronger the plan needs to be.
How crowded is your market?
In a large city where many agencies, online travel sites and tour operators compete for the same travellers, it takes a stronger presence to earn a place. In a smaller town where few agencies are visible online, an entry plan can already make a real difference.
Presence: the steady baseline
Presence is the entry seat, at €1,100 a month. It delivers a regular baseline of visibility: your agency shows up when someone looks for a travel agent in your area, so you are no longer invisible while others take the enquiries.
It suits a small agency with limited capacity that wants to stop relying only on walk-ins and word of mouth, in a market where online competition is moderate. Over the first year, the full investment is €14,700, setup included.
Momentum: the most common choice
Momentum is the growth seat, at €1,900 a month, and it is the most common choice. It aims for clear progress: being found across a wider range of requests, from city breaks to long-haul holidays, from corporate trips to group departures.
It suits an established agency with a team ready to take on more bookings, in a market where several competitors are already visible. First-year investment comes to €24,300, which is the €1,500 setup plus twelve monthly payments of €1,900.
Flood: the intensive seat
Flood is the intensive seat, at €3,500 a month. It is for agencies that want to own their patch: several branches or a large team, a broad product range and the aim of being the first agency people think of in the area. First-year investment is €43,500.
Flood makes sense when competition is fierce and each season represents a large volume of bookings. If your team cannot absorb many more enquiries, start with Momentum instead.
Exclusive plans: locking your sector
Traffic Engine caps each sector at 3 standard seats per area, each with its own positioning. If you would rather not share the work with any other travel agency in your area, two plans lock the vertical for the full 12-month commitment: Momentum Exclusive at €3,900 a month and Flood Exclusive at €5,900 a month.
Exclusivity can only be bought while the sector is empty in your area. As soon as another agency signs a standard seat, it is withdrawn. We look at what it is worth in our guide to sector exclusivity for travel agencies.
How to decide in practice
A simple rule: choose the plan that matches what your team can genuinely handle in peak season, not what you hope to handle one day. An agency drowning in enquiries damages its reputation. An agency with too few leaves the field open to competitors.
Then set the cost against what a client is worth. A traveller who books with you once a year, comes back for the family holiday and sends friends your way is worth far more than a single booking. The payback calculator runs the numbers with your own figures, including the ramp-up over the first three months. To see where the plan fits in your wider spending, read our guide to setting a visibility budget for a travel agency.
Finally, remember that the commitment runs for 12 months, with a measured review at three months. Visibility builds over time, and judging a plan before it has had time to work would be a waste. Our guide on why a 12-month commitment explains the reasoning.
What every plan includes
Whichever plan you choose, everything starts with the Visibility Audit at €690: a report within 48 working hours on how you show up on Google and in AI assistant answers, how you compare with other agencies and the potential in your area. It is also what helps you choose the right plan. It is fully deducted from the €1,500 setup if you start within 30 days.
You then receive a dated report every week and track your results in your own Search Console. If what your plan includes is not live on time, the next month is free. Compare the plans on the offer page and check which seats are still open.
