You run a private clinic, a specialist practice or a multi-disciplinary medical centre. You already know that patients search for a doctor, a specialty or a scan on their phone before they book, and that those who cannot find you book somewhere else. You have looked at Traffic Engine. The practical question now is which plan to pick.
The answer does not depend on how much you would like to spend. It depends on three things: the size of your practice, your ambitions for the next few years, and the state of competition in your area. This guide sets those against the plans.
The plans at a glance
Every plan sits on the same base: a Visibility Audit at €690, fully deducted from the €1,500 one-time setup if you start within 30 days, then a 12-month commitment with a measured review at three months, a dated report every week and results in your own Search Console. Prices are shown here in euros; the offer page lists them in pounds, dollars, Canadian dollars and dirhams too.
| Plan | Positioning | Per month | Year one (setup included) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Presence | Entry seat, steady baseline visibility | €1,100 | €14,700 |
| Momentum | Growth seat, the most common choice | €1,900 | €24,300 |
| Flood | Intensive seat | €3,500 | €43,500 |
| Momentum Exclusive | Growth, sector locked | €3,900 | €48,300 |
| Flood Exclusive | Intensive, sector locked | €5,900 | €72,300 |
These are Traffic Engine's own published prices. They make no claim about what other providers charge.
Criterion one: the size and shape of your practice
The single-specialty practice
A paediatric practice, a physiotherapy clinic or a small dermatology clinic does not need to be visible for every health topic in the city. Its first job is to stop being absent when a parent searches for a paediatrician nearby or a patient looks for a dermatologist. Presence is often the right starting point: steady baseline visibility on what matters for that practice.
The multi-disciplinary clinic
A clinic offering general practice, women's health, paediatrics, minor procedures and diagnostics has as many front doors as it has services. Each one matches different searches and different patients. Momentum, the most common choice, usually fits: it builds visibility for the clinic across its whole range.
The hospital group or multi-site provider
A provider with inpatient beds, theatres, imaging, several locations or patients who travel from other cities and countries plays in a different league. Flood, the intensive seat, matches that ambition.
Capacity matters as much as size. Before choosing, ask how many new patients your doctors, nurses and front desk can actually absorb each week without waiting times slipping. Visibility that brings more demand than you can serve damages your reputation rather than building it, so the right plan is the one your team can keep up with.
Criterion two: your ambitions
You are not choosing only for what you are today but for what you want to be in twelve months. Ask yourself:
- Are you opening a new specialty or service, such as a fertility unit, a day surgery centre or an imaging suite, that needs to be known quickly?
- Do you want patients from beyond your catchment, from other cities, neighbouring countries or medical travellers?
- Have you invested in equipment that only pays off when it runs close to capacity?
If any answer is yes, a growth or intensive plan is easier to justify. To check the numbers, start from what a patient is worth to you over a year and how many extra patients each plan would need to pay for itself. Our guide on payback on a visibility investment explains the reasoning, and the calculator on the offer page runs it with your own figures.
Criterion three: competition in your area
Each sector has only 3 standard seats per area, each with its own positioning. That changes the decision.
If no other clinic in your area has signed yet, you have an option that will not exist later: exclusivity. Momentum Exclusive and Flood Exclusive lock healthcare in your area for the whole commitment, so no competing provider can join Traffic Engine. The option is withdrawn as soon as the first standard seat is signed. For why the cap exists and what it protects, read our guide on limited seats per sector.
If one or two seats are already taken, the question becomes which of the remaining seats matches your ambition. A clinic that wants to compete with providers who are already signed up will usually be better served by Momentum or Flood than by Presence.
Common mistakes
The first is choosing Presence out of caution when your ambitions are Flood-sized: you risk being disappointed at the three-month review, not because the approach fails but because it was not sized for your goals. The second is the reverse: taking Flood for a single-specialty practice that could not absorb the extra demand. The third is waiting. While you hesitate, a competitor can take a seat and exclusivity disappears. To see what that delay costs, read the real cost of a clinic not being found online.
How to decide
Start with the free website score, then book the Visibility Audit: it shows how you compare with other providers in your area and which plan fits your situation. The report arrives within 48 working hours, with an optional 45-minute video walkthrough. Kolonell guarantees delivery and measurement, not what Google or an AI assistant decides, and if what your plan includes is not live on time, the following month is free.
